VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH DOWNED WIRES AND A BRUSH FIRE

On Monday March 14th at 0339 hours Brush 175 was dispatched to the intersection of Route 31 and McKinstry Mill Road for the report of a small outside fire. While en route central alarm upgraded the assignment dispatching Ambulance 179, Carroll County Medic 89, Rescue Engine 171, Engine-172, and EMS 900 for the reported vehicle accident with entrapment. B-175 arrived on the scene to find a single vehicle overturned with a broken utility pole with downed wires and a brush fire. Chief 17-1 Matt Ritter arrived shortly after and established the command. The brush fire was extinguished and one patient that was transported priority 2 to shock trauma. Co 17 units waiting on scene until the arrival of Potomac Edison.
